Participate in a climate strike, join a local FFF group or engage in another environmental organisation. Share this challenge with somebody who you would like to go with you.
Why it's important
The influence of climate movements is for sure positive, as it managed to influence the Paris agreement. For example, the Paris agreement introduction reads:
“Noting the importance of ensuring the integrity of all ecosystems, including oceans, and the protection of biodiversity, recognized by some cultures as Mother Earth, and noting the importance for some of the concepts of “climate justice”, when taking action to address climate change”.
The agreement also recognizes the common but differentiated responsibilities which were among the main principles raised by the climate movement since its beginnings.
